Summary

	Gas grenade was a type of hand grenade used by various factions before, during, and after the Great Galactic War Great Galactic War Event Great Galactic War (3681BBY - 3653BBY) . Spherical in shape and visually almost indistinguishable from other grenades, gas granabe deployed an airborne chemical agent upon impact and affected targets in a variety of harmful ways. It also had the secondary effect of filling the blast area with a temporary smokescreen. Some gas grenades were more lethal than others: while some were only meant to induce nausea or temporarily incapacitate a target, others could kill after prolonged exposure to the gas. Droids were immune to the grenades' effects as they did not breathe.	See also Great Galactic War
